  The Dubai Roundtable Conference held February 12-13,2023, launched an initiative towards an agreed upon 
  strategy to develop a joint model curriculum on education for the culture of peace among the Abraham 
  Accord nations, based on the UN resolutions on a "culture of peace" , the shared values of the Abraham 
  Accords partners, and the UN SDGs. The roundtable discussions  focused on the potential for a partnership
  between all the member nations of the Abraham Accord to develop agreement on the main principles and 
  values to be included in a model education curriculum for early education through academic level 
  education. The initiative also related to the UNESCO recommendations on education for peace as a guideline.
  
  Participants in the strategy roundtable included:
-  H.E. Prof. Emil Constantinescu, former President of Romania, founder of the Institute of the Levant;
-  Prof. Alberto Zucconi, Chairman of the Board of the World Academy of Arts and Sciences and Sec. Gen. of the World Universities Consortium;
-  Prof. Fabio Franceschi, Chair, Comparative Law Department and Representative for the King Hamad Center for Peaceful Coexistence Chair at Sapienza University, Rome

The roundtable conference concluded with the Dubai Declaration whereby the participants pledged to continue to work 
  together to achieve the goals set forth and agreed upon.
 
  The Dubai roundtable would be followed by an academic conference in Rome hosted by the Comparative Law 
  Department at Sapienza University in Rome, March 2023 and a conference in Europe in May. Finally, the initiative
  would be presented at the United Nations headquarters in June as a best practices model for all UN member states
  to consider with respect to their own geopolitical requirements and needs.
